Terms of use of Mi Carpeta Ciudadana

BY ACCESSING THE SERVICE OF MI CARPETA CIUDADANA, AVAILABLE IN THE ELECTRONIC ADDRESS CARPETACIUDADANA.GOB.ES, OR IN THE MOBILE APPLICATION, YOU DECLARE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND ACCEPT THESE CONDITIONS OF USE AND THE PRIVACY POLICY. ALL INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS AS A USER OF SUCH A SERVICE IS COLLECTED HERE.

1. What is Mi Carpeta Ciudadana?

The service of Mi Carpeta Ciudadana (hereinafter MI CARPETA CIUDADANA), available in the electronic address https://carpetaciudadana.gob.es, is a service that facilitates the citizens' relationship with the Public Administrations. It offers citizens (hereinafter, individually, the "USER" and jointly the "USERS") in a single access point, personalized information about their relationship with the different Public Administrations:

  • Information existing in the basic registers of the Public Administrations adhered to the service in relation to different areas, such as: education, residence, identification, traffic, benefits, among others. Allowing to obtain certifications required by the regulations.
  • Allow the monitoring of your administrative procedures with the different administrations adhered to the service.
  • The applications and writings obtained through consultations with the System of Interconnection of Registries (SIR), which allows the exchange of electronic registration seats between the Public Administrations.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The USER is informed that Mi Carpeta Ciudadana shows the user information that the Public Administrations attached to the service provide.

2. Use and Access to MI CARPETA CIUDADANA
For access to the service of MI CARPETA CIUDADANA, it is not required to be registered as a USER, it is only enough to have an electronic identification. Therefore, access to Mi Carpeta Ciudadana means that you must have one of the following systems:

  • Electronic DNI.
  • Qualified electronic certificate of electronic signature issued by a provider included in the List of Trusted Electronic Service Providers, maintained by the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Cl@ve PIN.
  • Cl@ve Permanente.

The USER accepts without reservation the content of these CONDITIONS OF USE. Consequently, the USER must carefully read them before accessing MI CARPETA CIUDADANA and using any of its functionalities.

The use of the Mi Carpeta Ciudadana service is free, free and voluntary for the USER.

The provision of false data is prohibited and, therefore, the USER must identify himself with his real data.

4. Intellectual and industrial property

The Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Service is the owner and OWNER of all intellectual and industrial property rights related to the service of Mi Carpeta Ciudadana PORTFOLIO.

The texts, designs, images, databases, logos, structure, trademarks and other elements of Mi Carpeta Ciudadana PORTFOLIO are protected by international laws and treaties on intellectual and industrial property.   • Guard your USER credentials diligently, preventing the access of unauthorized third parties to them and therefore ensuring their confidentiality.

  • Notify the OWNER immediately of any indication of the existence of a violation in the security of MI CARPETA CIUDADANA, of inappropriate or prohibited uses of the services provided from it, or of security failures of any kind.

  • Make good use of the contents, information and services provided from or through MI CARPETA CIUDADANA PORTFOLIO, in accordance with the law, good faith and generally accepted good customs, expressly committing to:
